Following up on a decision by the Fiscal Decentralization Initiative (FDI), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has initiated a survey on fiscal decentralization in the emerging economies in Central and Eastern Europe for the purpose of providing international comparisons on the design of fiscal systems across levels of government. This document contains the survey together with the country reports of Hungary, Denmark and Latvia.
