Democracy and Diversity Links
Is a very selective list of some of the internet resources which are found by Will Kymlicka the most useful in working on issues of ethnocultural diversity and democratic theory. He writes “Rather than trying to develop a comprehensive list of such resources, I have simply picked the handful of sites under each heading which are most useful, either because of the original or detailed information they provide, or for the comprehensive set of links they provide.”

MINELRES - Minority Electronic Resources
- directory of resources on minority human rights and related problems of the transition period in Eastern and Central Europe. Contains links to international organizations, NGOs, research organizations, human rights sources relevant to the topic. Organizes papers and other on-line information according to countries and according to minority groups. Also has links to relevant bibliographies on-line and selected publications on-line. List of NGOs dealing with minority rights and not only for some countries of Eastern Europe and FSU organized according to countries (sometimes links to NGOs in other cases information for contacting them).

Statewatch database: Statewatch, London, UK
"Statewatch database monitors the state and civil liberties in the UK and Europe [...] The database contains over 21,000 entries, with news, features, books, pamphlets, reports, EU resolutions and agreements, debates in the UK House of Commons & Lords, and the European Parliament, reports on cases in the European courts, and the Institute of Race Relations: European Race Audit."(ERCOMER Virtual Library). The Database contains information, news and reports on East and Central Europe as well.

The Balkan Human Rights Web Pages
- administered by Greek Helsinki Monitor & Minority Rights Group - Greece - Contains news, publications, special issues, reports, links to relevant sites and a mailing list: BALKAN HUMAN RIGHTS L I S T S E R V providing regularly human rights news from the Balkans. Contains information of human rights and minority rights issues in the countries of the Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, and Yugoslavia. Information concerning human rights in the Balkans coming from all major international human rights organizations is centralized here and organized by countries. Contains many many reports, articles, documents, press releases, interviews and links to all major human rights organizations active in the region.

ERCOMER
The European Research Centre on Migration and Ethnic Relations exists to promote the scientific study of migration (including asylum seekers), racism and ethnicity, to support relevant research training, to disseminate information and promote communication between researchers. Site contains: a virtual library with links to research centers, research programs, research related sites, academic departments and courses, journals and newsletters, other publications, conferences and meetings, data archives, documentation centers, mailing and discussion lists, government and international bodies, NGOs, other sources of information and related WWW virtual libraries. It has an on-line news letter and operates two mailing lists.

The Guide is subdivided in categories such as 'Email Lists and Newsgroups', 'News Sources', 'Academic Centers’, ‘Programs and Institutes', 'Academic Articles', 'NGOs', and 'Maps'. Multicultural Sky Scraper
"The Multicultural Sky Scraper (MSS) Web Site is a virtual environment which offers access to WEB Sites that have to do with media and the portrayal in them of ethnic minorities. It promotes the equal opportunities in the access to the media of all cultures and ethnic minorities. The Multicultural SkyScraper project is financed by DG5 and is developed in the framework of "More Colour in the Media" project. A list of the institutes and organisations that are relative to the category each door represents, as well as links to their Web Sites, appear." The information is available according to the following categories: media center, portrayal, employment, education, research, funding and products. The site contains codes, declarations, recommendations relevant to multicultural media, resources, information on projects, training and employment.

Minority Rights Database
"The University of East London Minority Rights Database is a legal database which contains international documents on minorities, judicial decisions by international fora on minority rights in different states, a recommended reading list on the area of minority rights and some information on the related topics of self determination, equality and discrimination under international law, as well as a set of links to other related Web sites. The purpose of the database is to act as a resource and guide to this area of law for students, academics and practitioners. The project was developed at the University of East London in 1995 and it is expected that the database will expand and be updated regularly." European Ethnohistory Database
"This is a rather unique look at Europe that traces the history of ethnic groups, their affinities, and languages. It has been compiled by Dr. Robert R.
