BMMC
The Bishkek Migration Management Center
"The Bishkek Migration Management Center (BMMC) was established by
the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the International Organization
for Migration (IOM), and the United Nations High Commissioner for
Refugees (UNHCR) for the purposes of comprehensively researching
migration and refugee issues in the states of Central Asia and the
region as a whole, assisting in the development of migration legislation
and policies, and training personnel. This web site is under
construction. The BMMC will be adding information in each of the above
categories and will introduce new categories on statistics and country
of origin information. Other Central Asian states have recognized the
Center’s regional role and support its activities. The Inter-State
