Mission

COMIR is a Virtual Policy Institute that facilitates exchange of information and expertise on minority related issues between various actors of policy-making and implementation.

COMIR is founded by NGOs, INGOs and expert groups involved in the developing on-line resources to support democratic governance and minority rights in multiethnic regions of OSCE.

The mission of COMIR is to provide up-to-date on-line information to policy-makers at the European, national and local levels, including politicians, practitioners, representatives of the media, public officials and NGOs.

COMIR is concentrating on various levels of policy development and policy advocacy to support implementation of minority rights and standards at all levels of government.

COMIR provides various forms of assistance to NGOs working in the field of minority rights advocacy.

COMIR is a point of reference. COMIR delivers current and scrutinized information to decision-makers and practitioners in an accessible structure.
